To obtain a building construction consent, the council requires the septic discharge water that has an E. coli count that is <200. We supply septic tank treatment systems for grey water. These systems feed the grey water through an initial 5 micron pleated paper filter to reduce the floating matter and increase the water tabidity to a level where the UV light is most effective. Our system utilise timers to allow the UV lamp to come up to full power before the water pump activates. Processing grey water through a UV not only sterilises the bacteria but eliminates the small before the water can be used on the garden. We recommend that the quartz sleeve ought to be inspected frequently to ensure it is clean.
The septic discharge system we supply is designed to make sure that as soon as the septic tank high level float switch is activated the UV system power is turned on. Once the power is turned on and is supplied to the irrigation pump, in order for the UV lamp to heat up a 2-minute delay is applied. The power is then cut once the low-level switch is activated.
Our systems are custom made for varying applications. Please feel free to give us a call if you have further questions or require clarification.
